Problem: You are a new franchisee for the company InstantWorld (a ficti-
tious company), which seeks to open the highest speed Internet café in
the City and County of Denver. Demographic analysis that the parent com-
pany conducted showed that its Internet cafés do best in the following
neighborhoods:
1. In a neighborhood where the percent of 18 to 21 year-olds is over 10%
of the total population of the neighborhood.
2. Within one kilometer of a high school, university, or college.
3. On a busy street (with a TIGER Census Feature Class Code (CFCC2) of
A1, A2, or A3).
3.5.4 Data management: Getting data sets and getting them ready
for analysis
Create a folder on your computer or on the network where you will store the
data. Make certain that this folder has a name that is logical so that you will
understand what its contents are, and without spaces to avoid any problems
in your GIS-based analysis. Go to the following website to download the data:
