In-Depth Information
world are developing strategies to support economic growth without completely
depleting the rainforests. Although significant destruction and disappearance of
rainforests have occurred, continued efforts at conservation, and continued
research into the ecology of the rainforests will be necessary to increase awareness
of the importance of this incredibly diverse and important biome. Sustainable
ways to use these tropical resources will be critical for tropical nations and their
forests to survive.
