With regard to the same issue, the snow avalanche climatic potential, we have
analyzed the relation between snow depth and the snow avalanche frequency in
years with considerable snowfall (Fig. 10.8 ):

10.4 The Management of Snow Avalanche Risk

The Fagaras massif is characterized by high snow avalanche activity, especially in
