of solar activity, it would be logical to examine the evaluation of all climate
parameters in a “grey box” context, introducing a priori knowledge, for
instance regarding thermal inertia of ocean masses. Another possibility
would be to continue the identification according to the approach initiated
here, but based on a coupled climate-carbon model, with the exogenous
input of the anthropogenic emission rate of CO 2 , where the concentration
becomes a state variable like temperature. Such work should be carried out
by experts whose competence in the climate field is greater than ours.
