12:30 pm -- St. Paul's Cathedral
Price: FREE
Duration: 30 minutes

As far as this itinerary goes, this stop is free as I've allowed enough time to photograph
the outside of the cathedral and walk around it without rushing, but don't worry I'll explain
how to get in for free later. Plus, if you do want to pop in for free, I've scheduled the stop
for the right time to do so.

St. Paul's Cathedral is one of the city's most recognizable sights. A church has been on
these grounds since 1087. The original St. Paul's Cathedral was severely damaged by the
Great Fire of London in 1666. The current cathedral has been there since then and even
survived the Blitz in World War II. Popular activities here include walking the 257 steps up
the church's dome to the Whispering Gallery, where because of the cathedral's acoustics,
people are able to whisper into the walls of the dome and be heard by people resting their
ear on the wall 100 feet away.
