Your best bet for finding affordable comedy acts during your visit is picking up a copy of
Time Out, which is free, or visiting their website . Alternatively, just visit these sections of
the city and you'll be bombarded with comedy show promoters.
Usually, the more you pay, the better the show, but not always. If you can't find a free act,
expect to pay £5-10. The first two recommendations below are for free comedy shows in
the area available at the time this guide was written. The third is one of the city's most pop-
ular comedy venues.
