Critical ORA Errors
DBAs, when paged for critical production issues and the message received on the page/e-mail/notification is an
ORA-0600 error, will allmost always get on the the database server to get an understanding of how critical or what
kind of immediate impact it has on the system and then starts working on creating a support request (SR) with Oracle
support. In this section, we discuss two important such errors: ORA-0600 and ORA-7445.
ORA-600: Internal error code, arguments: [...], [...]
An ORA-600 error indicates a kernel exception. When such an error is encountered, Oracle records certain details
related to this error in the alert log file and also in a trace file.
