HM Using EM
The discussions so far have been about using HM in an interactive mode using SQLplus. As usual, for most manual
interfaces, Oracle has a graphical interface through EM. To view, check, or run HM reports from the EM console, the
steps are as follows:

1. Select Advisor Central from DB home page. Figure 18-1 illustrates the advisor central page

in OEM. The tab next to the Advisors tab is the Checkers tab.

2. Select Checkers to view the checkers page. Figure 18-2 illustrates the checkers page. This

page contains the various types of checks that can be executed manually or internally by
the database kernel.

3. Select the appropriate check that needs to be executed. In this specific example, the DB

Structure Integrity Check has been selected.

4. From the various checks listed in Figure 18-2 , select the type of check to be executed.

Figure 18-3 illustrates the input screen to enter the required parameters for DB Structure
Integrity Check.
