The preceding output illustrates that the MMON's statistics collection is working and configured for the default
type and that the load balance on session is counted. In this case, TAPS is the service; and Oracle updates the MMON
process; which in turn builds the advisory and posts the required advice to AQ, PMON , and the ONS. The trace output
could also provide indications regarding retransmissions and so forth if there are issues with the interconnect.
Conclusion
In this chapter, we discussed an in depth look at service-based architecture with DWM. In the chapter, we discussed
about the load balancing and failover features available in RAC. In the workshop, we discussed the distributed
workload management and monitoring of workload, integrating it with the resource manager to prioritize services
and allocation of resources.
