When multiple NICs are configured on the RAC cluster using the new HAIP feature available in Oracle Database
11g Release 2 (11.2.0.2), all NICs configured as private interconnects are put to use, giving almost double the
throughput compared to the previous single NIC configuration (see Figure 14-10 ).
