Enterprise Manager to Monitor Global Cache
Oracle enterprise manager (OEM) cloud control has several enhancements in Oracle EM 12c and in the database (DB)
express version of OEM that is installed as part of the database install. Global cache access statistics are displayed in
Figure 13-15 . This chart can be viewed from the performance-monitoring tab after selecting the database from the
targets tab of the DB console.

Similar to Figure 13-13 , EM cloud control provides a number of other performance matrixes similar to
Figure 13-14 , which provides a view of the current global cache, block access latency, and block transfers between
instances. Apart from this, Figure 13-14 lists the latest sessions and the global wait statistics.
