SQL Advisory
The SQL Advisory feature in EM is a good, handy feature to tune SQL queries. Data gathered from real-time
performance statistics is used to optimize query performance. To use the SQL tuning advisory, select the Advisory
Central option from the performance page from the db express (12c)/Database Express or EM Cloud Control, then
select the SQL Tuning Advisory option. This option provides the “Top Activity” (illustrated in Figure
6-3
). Moving the
scroll bar to a specific time frame on the top activity chart will list the “Top SQL” ordered by highest activity (illustrated
in Figure
6-4
).
