The next step is to calibrate the test/preproduction environment with the data that was
collected from the preprocessing of the capture workload. Calibration is done using the
following command:
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/wrc mode=calibrate replaydir=/OBITST_RMAN/EGCRAT/
[oracle mvallath]$ $ORACLE_HOME/bin/wrc mode=calibrate replaydir=/OBITST_RMAN/EGCRAT/

Report for Workload in: /OBITST_RMAN/EGCRAT/
-----------------------
Recommendation:
Consider using at least 4 clients divided among 1 CPU(s)
You will need at least 161 MB of memory per client process.
If your machine(s) cannot match that number, consider using more clients.
Workload Characteristics:
- max concurrency: 171 sessions
- total number of sessions: 5555
Assumptions:
- 1 client process per 50 concurrent sessions
- 4 client process per CPU
- 256 KB of memory cache per concurrent session
- think time scale = 100
- connect time scale = 100
- synchronization = TRUE
Workload Replay
After the capture data is made available to the target/test/preproduction servers, the next step is to replay the
workload on this environment.
