â–  to make the movement of files from the current production to the new preproduction environment, it may be
worth considering placing these files on a shared file system such as a network file system (nFs) mount. the advantage
of placing them on nFs or shared mount locations is that it makes it easier to mount the volume on the new preproduc-
tion environment, which avoids copying the capture files across the network.

Once the capture job has completed successfully, the next step is to export the AWR data from the current capture
environment, which you accomplish by selecting Export AWR Data (refer to Figure 5-3 ). Following the export of the
AWR data, the capture data should be moved from the capture environment to a staging location for preprocessing
using the Copy to Workload Staging Area task. This can also be accomplished from the screen illustrated in Figure 5-3 .
