BUS
The chaotic bus terminal (Pellegrini 730) receives all buses plying RN3. Stop at the help-
ful tourist desk to enquire about maps and travel assistance.
Most bus schedules are divided into northbound and southbound departures. Andes-
mar ( 446-8894) departs five times daily (between 1:15am and 3pm) for points north
including Trelew, Rawson and Puerto Madryn.
TAC ( 444-3376) follows the same route and continues to Buenos Aires. Etap (
447-4841) runs to Esquel and Río Mayo daily, to Sarmiento four times daily and to Coy-
haique, Chile, at 8am on Wednesday and Saturday.
Sportman ( 444-2988) services Los Antiguos and connections to Chile Chico, via
the town of Perito Moreno. Taqsa/Marga (
447-0564) goes to Bariloche and El Cala-
fate in the evening.
Schedules are in constant flux; upon arrival at the bus terminal, ask at each bus line's
desk for information on departure times.
