Getting There & Away
The Corredor Bioceánico - RN26, RP20 and RP55 - is a straight highway link to Coy-
haique, Chile, and its Pacific port, Puerto Chacabuco. Developers are promoting this
commercial transport route as an alternative to the Panama Canal, since the pass is open
year-round and it is the continent's shortest distance between ports on both oceans. Paved
RN26, RP20 and RN40 lead to Esquel and Bariloche.
