Located opposite the plaza, these pastel shoebox cabins are good value. Like new (the
grass hasn't even started growing yet), they feature small, clean bedrooms with a bath-
room and kitchenette. If no one is here, ask at Alma Patagonica, which runs the cabins.

Currently
the only game in town, Indalo could just as well be called indolent - guests seem almost
a nuisance to staff. Remodeled rooms are a bit of a squeeze, but feature good bedding
and strong showers. The cabins are more expensive but offer sea views.
Alma Patagonica

A gem, this restored century-old fron-
tier bar is run by enthusiastic hipsters with an eye on preserving local tradition.
Homemade fish empanadas (baked, savory turnovers) are excellent, washed back with a
massive cold beer. They also run Las Cabañas, located one block away.

Getting There & Away
At a gas-station junction 180km south of Trelew, RP30 splits off from RN3 and heads
72km east to Camarones. Buses leave from the
bus terminal

Transportes Ñandú buses go to Trelew (AR$100, four hours) at 4pm on Monday, Wed-
nesday and Friday. Transportes ETAP goes to Comodoro Rivadavia (AR$100, 3½ hours)
on Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm.
Local taxis make the 30-minute ride to Cabo Dos Bahías.
