While most visitors focus on whale-watching, adventure offerings continue to grow.
Bicycles or kayaks can be rented and area estancias offer horseback riding . Or visit-
ors can walk to the sea-lion colony less than 5km from town (though mostly uphill). It is
a magnificent spot to catch the sunset, occasional whale sightings and views across the
Golfo Nuevo toward Puerto Madryn. Time your visit with the tides; high tides finds all
the sea lions swimming out to sea.
