All hostels have kitchens and many offer pickup from the bus terminal, but most are a

suburban-style house featuring both private rooms and dorm beds with down comforters,
a cocktail bar in the grassy courtyard, bike rental, climbing wall and barbecues. New

as an amateur meteorologist (which helps when planning day trips).

A tie for the best hostel in town is this cozy guesthouse where the owners and
staff greet you by name. The creation of a well-traveled couple, La Tosca is modern and
comfy, with a grassy courtyard, good mattresses, and varied breakfasts with homemade
cakes. Double suites and a post-checkout bathroom with showers are wonderful addi-
tions. There's also bike rental.
