( 4456447;

;
Muelle Piedra Buena; adult/child AR$320/160; ticket
office 10am-1pm & 2-7pm)
This 300-passenger ship cruises the Golfo Nuevo to Punta Lobo,
departing from the pier, where tickets are sold. The three-hour tour leaves at 1pm on
Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and holidays. The ship has three decks, a bar and fast
food.
In season, whales may be glimpsed, although it's pointedly not a whale-watching ex-
cursion. However, the closed cabins are helpful for families who want to get on the water
without braving the elements.
Diving & Snorkeling
With interesting shipwrecks and sea life nearby, Madryn and the Península Valdés have
become Argentina's diving capitals. Newcomer 'baptism' dives run around AR$450;
some agencies also offer courses, night dives and multiday excursions. Some of the fol-
lowing outfitters also offer the popular option of snorkeling with sea lions (per person
AR$800) in Punto Lomas. All of these outfitters are PADI-affiliated.
