AR$660/750; ) A sprawling brick wonderland out on the highway (a two-minute
walk from the center of town), the Aldea is comfortable enough with modern, slightly
cramped rooms. It's definitely worth paying the extra for the river views.
La Posta del Rey ARGENTINE $$$
(C Joubert 336; mains AR$80-120; 8am-11pm; ) Located inside the Hostería Aluminé,
this is the best eating option in town, serving up all the Argentine standards plus some
good Patagonian favorites such as lamb, venison and trout.

Getting There & Away
Aluminé's bus terminal ( 02941-496048) is just downhill from the plaza, an easy walk
to any of the hotels listed here. Aluminé Viajes and Albus go daily to/from Neuquén
(AR$195, six hours), Zapala (AR$110, three to 3½ hours) and San Martín de los Andes
(AR$84, 4½ hours). There's one bus a day to Villa Pehuenia (AR$30, one hour) at
7:30pm.
