as far as Paso Hua Hum on the Chilean border, at 10am. A dock has been under
construction for several years at Hua Hum - when it is eventually completed, passengers
will be able to disembark to cross the border into Chile. For now, you have to get off at
Chachin, which is about an hour's walk from Hua Hum. Departure times do change; so
call the ferry company or check with the tourist office. The fare is AR$260/400 one way/
return.
BUS
The
bus terminal

is a block south of the
highway and 3½ blocks southwest of Plaza San Martín.
La Araucana

heads to Villa Traful daily during summer (AR$60,
2½ hours). If you're heading to Villa La Angostura or Bariloche during the summer, Al-
bus regularly takes the scenic Ruta de los Siete Lagos (RN234) instead of the longer but
smoother Rinconada route.
