DÍA DE LA MEMORIA
Held on March 24 (the date a military coup took over the Argentine government in
1976), this public holiday commemorates the victims of Argentina's Dirty War.
Over seven years, tens of thousands of people 'disappeared' and were never heard

Autumn is starting in Argentina and temperatures are more pleasant in
Buenos Aires (though it's rainy). Prices fall at the beaches and in Patago-
nia, but the weather remains warm. The north starts to cool, and Iguazú
Falls isn't quite so hot and humid.
Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia
Mendoza city's nearly week-long Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia kicks off with parades,
