this is a discreet and reliable restaurant with well-dressed waiters who see to your every
need. There's a salad bar with plenty of vegetables (AR$49, or AR$35 with a main) and
a wide choice of food that includes enormous parrilla options as well as tasty arroz a la
valenciana (paella).

El Patio del Indio Froilán TRADITIONAL MUSIC

years now, indigenous local hero Froilán González has been making drums from the
trunks of the ceibo tree. They are used by some of the biggest names in Latin music. On
Sundays, locals and visitors gather at this open space and workshop to eat empanadas, in-
vestigate drum-making and listen and dance to live music. Great scenes.

On the way to the riverfront, this big barn of a peña has live folk bands Thursday through
Sunday and cheap parrilla and empanadas any time. The music kicks off around 11pm.
