minutes' walk from the center along Av General Güemes is one of several in this area. It
can get dusty when the wind blows. Facilities - including a high-season pool - are OK,
and there are constricted but cheap dorm beds in weird little hexagonal cabins.

Classy, comfortable and well run, this handsome and recommendable hotel has colonial
style and is given warmth by its creative use of natural wood, stone and local

The gorgeous rooms - not a TV in sight - have great bathrooms, and the upstairs suites -
worth the extra investment - have cracking views and private balcony spaces. There's a
pretty pool area and impeccable hospitality.

around twin patios, this offers an intimate retreat with beautiful, spotless rooms with
French doors, big beds and reproduction antique furniture. Rooms are in two styles: one
more colonial in feel, with dark wood and religious icons. There are numerous helpful
little details, service and breakfast are good, and you can lose hours deciphering the off-
beat mural sculpture in the courtyard.
