and relaxed, this likeable hostel has good dorms featuring sturdy bunk beds with plenty
of headroom. The attached restaurant is romantically lit but more hit-and-miss.
Camping Municipal CAMPGROUND, HOSTEL $

AR$30/250; ) On a hill southwest of the plaza, this offers shaded sites with barbecues
surrounded by hedges; the municipal pool is here. There's also a hostel with dorms
(AR$12) and cabins (AR$125); reserve at the tourist office.
Miraluna APARTMENTS $$$

) Seven kilometers from town in the hamlet of La Aguada, these beautifully
romantic, rustic cabins come in three sizes and have a spectacular, fabulously peaceful
setting in a working vineyard surrounded by breathtaking mountain and valley views.
Breakfast features tasty home-baked bread, and other light meals are available. You can
also help yourself to vegetables from the organic garden.
El Cortijo BOUTIQUE HOTEL $$$

HosterĂ­a Cachi entrance, this stylish small hotel offers rooms that aren't large but are
decorated with finesse, and some - particularly 'Los Padres.' with its own private terrace
with loungers (doubles AR$660) - have fabulous views of the sierra. There's also an ex-
cellent on-site restaurant and helpful staff. Good value.
ACA HosterĂ­a Cachi HOTEL $$$
( 491105; www.soldelvalle.com.ar ; Av ACA s/n; s/d AR$475/710; ) With its hilltop
position, this family friendly hotel has the best views in town, and there are worse ways
to spend your day than relaxing poolside checking them out. Rooms are unexciting but
picturesquely surround a patio; the grassy grounds are great and there's even a little farm
zoo.
