used) cafe-restaurant makes an enticing stop. Delicious blended juices and organic wines
wash down daily-changing specials served in generous portions. It's all delicious: it does

cheeses, cured meats and preserves are on sale in this charismatic deli. Out the back - in-
cluding a pretty little garden patio - are tables where you can enjoy gourmet sandwiches,
a glass of wine, or delicious picadas (shared appetizer plates).

terrace overlooking the palms of Plaza Güemes is just one reason to like this popular loc-
al restaurant that does a huge range of dishes well, without frills and in generous por-
tions. Several rabbit dishes, tasty fish and a succulent plate of the day are backed up by
excellent service.

phalanx of fans mark this out as a classic neighborhood grill. Generous quantities, in-
cluding an impressive array of free nibbles, cheap house wine and decent meat seal the
deal. Half-portions are more than enough for one. Don't confuse it with the more upmar-
ket restaurant with the same name diagonally opposite.
