free and English speaking. There's a handier tourist office located in the urban bus ter-
minal (

Getting There & Away
There are daily flights to Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and São Paulo among other cities in
Brazil.
Long-distance buses services include Curitiba (10 hours), São Paulo (16 hours) and
Rio de Janeiro (22 hours). You can buy tickets at many central travel agencies, including
Central de Passagens (

Getting Around
For the airport or falls, catch the 'Aeropuerto/Parque Nacional' bus from the urban bus
terminal or one of the stops along Av Juscelino Kubitschek; the trip takes 30 to 40
minutes and costs R$2.85, paid as you enter the terminal. A taxi costs about R$40.
The long-distance bus terminal ( 3522-3336; Av Costa e Silva 1601) is 5km northeast
of downtown. To get downtown, taxi it for R$20 or walk downhill to the nearby bus stop
and catch any 'Centro' bus (R$2.85).
Buses to Puerto Iguazú (R$4/AR$10) run along Rua Mem de Sá alongside the urban
bus terminal half-hourly from 8am until 8pm; they stop along Av Juscelino Kubitschek.
Buses for Ciudad del Este, Paraguay (R$4), run every 15 minutes (half-hourly on
Sundays); catch them on Av Juscelino Kubitschek opposite the urban bus terminal.
