Nestled in deep forest 1.5km off the falls road, this enchanting, intimate lodge has ap-
pealing 'tierra' rooms with balcony in wooden buildings that in some cases still have
trees growing through them. The upper-level 'jungle' rooms offer better views and have
a hammock. Cheaper 'forest' rooms are attractive but less rustic. Biking, guided walks
and visits to the Guaraní hamlets are included.

Spectacularly
set in the jungle yet just a few kilometers from town, this giant complex has several
buildings connected by walkways. It's decorated in relaxed country style and features a
huge tree-surrounded pool area as its highlight. Rooms are spacious and comfortable; up-
grade to a balcony for bird-watching opportunities. But charging extra for spa use and in-
room wi-fi seems outrageous at these rates. Online prices are usually lower.

A little corporate in feel, but with a very secluded location considering it's on the edge
of town, this offers spacious, well-equipped accommodations with quality beds and
jungle balcony in a resort-style complex surrounding a large pool. Staff are multilingual
and very helpful. It's a great option for families, with games room and suites. Good on-
site restaurant.

Don't let
the tacky ads for the attached casino put you off this place, just short of the bridge across
to Brazil. It's a huge upmarket complex, classically decorated, with a variety of excellent
rooms, pretty grounds, a great pool area, spa (included) and top restaurant. Facilities are
first class, and children are made very welcome. It's cheaper online.
Eating
Restaurants in Puerto Iguazú are pricey but generally of good quality, and open early for
dinner to cater for tourists. Credit cards aren't widely accepted: ask beforehand or carry
cash.
