pitches, nearly all with their own quincho (thatched-roof building). This is where to go
for boat trips; it's also worth checking out the view as the sun sets. Book ahead as it's not
huge.
Rancho Iberá LODGE $$$

rooms with narrow beds surround a tranquil veranda and garden at this friendly, central
place.
La Antigua Posada GUESTHOUSE $$$

high-ceilinged rooms along a veranda. It has an appealing cafe and very welcoming own-
ers.

Four gorgeous, super-spacious rooms - they can fit a family - surround a beautifully

tasty meals and lakeside shelter to watch the spectacular sunsets make this a very special
place.

white rooms with great beds and paintings by the owner. The emphasis is on relaxation
(ie no TV), and staff pull it off, with friendly service, guided trips and good meals. The
rooms in the building closer to the lake are slightly more charming, those in the other
building are more private.
