Rosario Bike, Kayak & Motor Boat Tours TOUR

setup with great boat trips around the Paraná delta (AR$140, two hours) with the option
of a lunch stop on a delta island and overnighting possibilities. You can also explore the
islands by kayak (AR$200, 2½ hours) or combine the two (AR$250). Good bike tours of
the city (AR$160, 2½ hours) are also available. You can book at the Estación Fluvial.

two-hour cruises on the Paraná for AR$65; it leaves on weekends and holidays at 2:30pm
and 5pm, or 5pm and 7:30pm in summer. It's vulnerable to cancellation if it's windy.
Island Explorer BOAT TOUR

Paraná islands in a speedy inflatable from Tuesday to Sunday. Trips last 90 minutes.

Centro Cultural Isla Charigüé BOAT TOUR

terful excursion takes you on a short boat trip (AR$120) out into the delta to visit this un-
usual gallery, with highly colourful paintings depicting riverine wildlife, as well as other
delta-related art and poetry. Book at the Estación Fluvial.
Festivals & Events
Rosario packs out for the October 12 long weekend. Many hotels and hostels double
their prices and fill up well ahead of time.
Semana de la Bandera FIESTA
Climaxing in ceremonies on June 20, the anniversary of the death of Manuel Belgrano,
Flag Week is Rosario's major fiesta.
