panies' tickets, so ask around if you want a particular schedule, company or price.
Travelers to Sierra de la Ventana have three options: Condor Estrella ( 491-5091;
www.condorestrella.com.ar ) runs two daily buses (AR$44, 2½ hours); Expreso Cabildo (
491-5247 ) has a twice-daily bus-plus-van service (AR$55, two hours, buy ticket from
driver at platform 1); and Norte Bus ( 0291-15-468-5101 ) operates a shuttle (AR$80,
1½ hours).

TRAIN
Ferrobaires ( www.ferrobaires.gba.gov.ar ) runs trains from Estación Ferrocarril Roca (
452-9196; Cerri 750) to Buenos Aires' Constitución station every day except Monday and
Saturday, at around 7:30pm (AR$95 to $AR170, 14 to 15 hours). On Wednesday and Fri-
day these trains serve Sierra de la Ventana (AR$37 to AR$73, three hours). At the time
of research, Ferrobaires and Tren Patagónico were working to re-establish the train ser-
vice south to Carmen de Patagones.
