With so many porteños boasting Spanish ancestry, it's not surprising that there are a
few flamenco venues in town. Most are located in Congreso's Spanish neighborhood,
near the intersection of Salta and Av de Mayo.
Música folklórica (folk music) also has its place in BA. There are several peñas (folk-
music clubs) in the city, but other venues occasionally host música folklórica - keep your
eyes peeled.

factory is a valiant attempt to breathe new life to an edgy section of La Boca. It's a gor-
geous red brick building complete with scenic clock tower, and its symphony concert
hall is now the home to Buenos Aires' philharmonic and national symphony orchestras.
