Pedro Figari, whose landscapes and portraits masterfully convey a sense of Uruguayan

On Ciudad Vieja's main square, this museum is devoted to Lithuanian-born Constructiv-
ist artist José Gurvich (1927-74), who lived most of his life in Uruguay.
