On a side node, the previous event listener implementation is built in the jBPM6 code, in
a class called
org.jbpm.process.instance.event.listeners.TriggerRulesEventListener
.
However, the previous anonymous class was left intentionally to show that you can create
your own event listeners as you see fit, and don't need to stick to built-in event listeners.
This covers the main interactions between rules and processes. The next section deals
with some advanced rule concepts that allow for tracking different operations along a spe-
cific timeline.
