Compounds and activities: The phosphoglycolipids, viz., phosphoglyco-analog
of acetyl-acetylated sphingosine and glyco-analog of phosphatidyl glycerol,
isolated from this species are potent inhibitors of platelet activating factor-
induced platelet aggregation (Antonopoulon, 2005). Further, the extract of
this species has also exhibited acetylene reduction activity.
