Figure 9.19 , so you will easily see the correspondence between the Excel and SPSS
outputs.

If you want the conidence intervals for the intercept (“constant”) and slope to be displayed in
SPSS, follow these instructions:
Go back to Figure 9.23 , and click “Statistics,” as in Figure 9.25 (see horizontal arrow), and
then click “Conidence intervals” under the “Regression Coeficients” section (see vertical arrow in
Figure 9.25 ).
Finally, click “Continue” (see dashed arrow in Figure 9.25 ), which takes you back to Figure
9.23 .
