Blitz
Type: Fast Survival Games Variant
Survival Games is one of the most popular mini-games, and it has been for a long time,
but Blitz is our favorite version of Survival Games. It takes the basic concept of an arena
with Chests with items scattered around it and kit selection and makes the competition much
fiercer and quicker by having smaller arenas, crazier kits and a special Blitz Star that spawns
every so often and gives the finder extra powers.
There are a ton of kits in Blitz (far too many to list here), each of which has very specific
traits and powers, and each of which can be upgraded from level I to level X. Some of the
kits are free, while others require winning and purchasing to access, and the level of the kit
determines the amount and quality of items you get from it and your appearance.
Games of Blitz start out like other Survival Games matches, with players spread out evenly
in a circle around a group of Chests. When the countdown finishes, players are able to move
and can either risk running to the Chests to try and get items before other players, or they
can just run off into the map. PVP is immediately enabled in Blitz, but the items from your
kit will not appear in your inventory until 60 seconds into the match. The arenas are decently
sized with many hiding spots, and they also contain quite a few hidden Chests, which con-
tain random items like those in the center of the spawn point.
Strategy in Blitz is fairly complex and requires quick changes and thinking. You'll have to
decide whether to risk going for Chests or simply to hide and wait for your kit, and you'll
be playing against all sorts of other kits, including those that are far above your level. Being
higher level does not necessarily guarantee a kill in Blitz, however, as it is still pretty easy
to kill someone with a good kit if you catch them at the right time with the right items, es-
pecially before they get their kit. You also have a player tracker in the form of a compass,
which will show you the direction of the closest player, which can help both offensively and
defensively. Because of these reasons, good kits are highly useful, but not a game-breaker.
The Blitz Star, while also not a breaker, certainly is a game changer, as it spawns randomly
on the map every 5 minutes and allows the finder to select from a variety of special one-
