Wizards
Type: Magic Kit Command Point PVP
Who doesn't want to be a wizard? We know we're into the idea of wrathfully slingin' the
powers of magic at our foes, and that's why we love the Wizards mini-game. This one is a
simple PVP “capture the command point” mode that has each player pick a team and a kit,
and each kit is a different type of wizard with a variety of unique powers.
The powers and wizard-types run the gamut from fireball throwers to ice wizards and more,
and each class typically has an exploding spell attack that has a special feature to it, like a
fireball that burns enemies (a Fire Charge shot when a staff is used), and a special defensive
power, like an instant teleport. Most powers take “mana,” which in this case is the icons in
your hunger bar, which are used up quickly but also regenerate very quickly. Once you've
selected your wizard-type, it's locked in for the rest of the match, so make sure to try a few
out and find one you're good with.
The red pad with the beam of light coming out of it is one of the command points in a Wizards match,
which you need to go stand on in order to secure it for your team.
Here's the list of Wizards classes and their powers:
FIRE WIZARD
Attack Power: Launches a fireball
Defense Power: Instant teleportation
KINETIC WIZARD
Attack Power: High damage, short-range railgun
Defense Power: Gravity gun
ICE WIZARD
Attack Power: Freeze shot to slow enemies
Defense Power: Puts up a wall of Ice
WITHER WIZARD
Attack Power: Exploding extra-poisonous Wither skull shot
Defense Power: An extra row of “absorption hearts”
BLOOD WIZARD
Attack Power: Normal attack costs 2 hearts instead of mana
Defense Power: Has a Splash Potion that instantly regenerates health
