Where to Get Resource/Texture Packs
Resource/texture packs for the PC and Mac can also be found online, again at sites like
Planet Minecraft, resourcepack.net , MinecraftTexturePacks.net and Curse's Minecraft Tex-
ture Packs page. The Minecraft Forum is perhaps the best place to get packs, as you'll see
players upload them and update very frequently, and it provides a great place for other play-
ers to post pictures of their worlds with the packs turned on and discuss them.
Making Your Own Resource Packs

craft skin. Again, there are a wide variety of programs out there to help you out with this,
and using Google to find the Minecraft Wiki's Resource Pack Creators page is your best
bet. Successfully creating a resource pack is a pretty big undertaking however, as you'll
need to think carefully about how every texture you create will look in your world and to-
gether with the textures of other blocks. We'd suggest using YouTube to get some tutorials
on the specific program you choose, which should help tremendously.
