5 Conclusions
In this work, we defined both forward (F-pSQ) and inverse (I-pSQ) perceptual quantizer
using CBPF. We incorporated it to H i -SET, testing a perceptual image compression system H i -
SET + pSQ. In order to measure the effectiveness of the perceptual quantization, a perform-
