The Welcome screen is evolving even
as we write this, but one
version you might get in-cludes
a Create tab for opening your
documents and tabs with short
videos to help you learn to use
Illustrator. You should be able
to prevent the Welcome screen
from launching (look for a
Don't Show Again check-box,
though it might not be easy to
locate). If your Welcome screen
is closed, you can look for it in
the Help menu.
