Custom XPath functions
The JDeveloper's XPath Expression Builder provides standard BPEL and Oracle
BPEL extension functions.
Even though, the functions of JDeveloper's Expression Builder cover most of the re-
quirements, sometimes, you may have unique business requirements which can be
achieved by custom XPath functions. Such custom XPath functions can be called
from any XPath expression that is designed in JDeveloper.
Forexample,youmaywanttouseacustomXPath functiontofilterormasksensitive
data such as an employee's salary, before sending it to another system or a web ser-
vice.
