In-Depth Information
Daliza & Hapidzal, 2009) to what extent sociocul-
tural factors influence body dissatisfaction and the
effect of it on food choices and the eating pattern
among Malaysian female university students are
not known since little investigation undertaken to
date (Gan, Mohd Nasir, Zalilah & Hazizi, 2011).
With that, the issue related to it is still under inves-
tigation and yet to reveal the answers.

4 CONCLUSION
It is hoped that reviewing and investigating the
relationship between sociocultural factors, body
internalization and the effect of it on food choices
and the eating pattern would explain further vari-
ation in the body dissatisfaction and strengthening
the current knowledge related to food choice and
eating pattern particularly among female students.
In addition, information generated could be use-
ful to related practitioners in refining the existing
diagnostic and treatment.
