Bed down on a carpet of pine needles at this tidy lakeside campground, about 3 miles
north of Stateline, where 48 sites are nestled amid pines. Leashed dogs are allowed at
campsites, but not the beach.

In Nevada, about 4 miles north of Stateline, this family-oriented lakeside resort has histor-
ic cabins scattered among the pines and good facilities, including hot showers, barbecue
grills and fire rings. Take your pick of 93 paved RV or 10 drive-in tent sites (some with
lake views), or 47 walk-in tent sites tucked deeper into the shady forest.

contender. Let yourself be swallowed up by even standard 'luxury' rooms, which each

upper-floor restaurants.
