Come here first to drink - it has 12 taps rotating some of the best microbrewed beer in the
country - and then tuck into a 'wino burger,' which comes topped with peppered goat
cheese, thick sliced bacon and a red-wine reduction sauce. It's a friendly place with an af-
fable staff, surly regulars and a great summer patio.

This snug little hangout serves organic, locally roasted coffee and is consistently busy.
There's live acoustic music some evenings.

boutiques to indulge a little shopping for the spiritual seeker.

A favorite outdoor store in Shasta, this place rents camping, mountain-climbing and back-
