In-Depth Information
Every brand of chain hotel is along Hwy 101. Room rates run high midsummer; you can
sometimes find cheaper in Arcata, to the north, or Fortuna, to the south. There are also a
handful of motels which cost from $55 to $100 and have no air-conditioning; choose
places set back from the road. The cheapest are south of downtown on the suburban strip.
