Styled with hip vintage decor, this cluster of 1950s roadside cottages is a refreshingly
playful option amid the cabbage-rose and lace aesthetic of Mendocino. Each cabin houses
two rooms with complementing themes: 'Read' has old books, comfy vintage chairs and
hip retro eyeglasses, while the adjoining 'Write' features a huge chalk board and a ribbon
typewriter.
A favorite for travelers? 'Here' and 'There,' themed with old maps, 1960s airline
paraphernalia and collectables from North Coast's yesteryear.

The finest B&B option in town with gardens in a riot of color. There are cheerful cottages,
and a modern luxury home, but the most memorable space is within one of Mendocino's
iconic historic water towers - living quarters fill the ground floor, a sauna is on the second
and there's a view of the coast from the top.
All accommodations have cushy extras like robes, DVD players, stereos and plush lin-
ens.
