Activities
After you've walked around the plaza, there isn't much to do in town. Go wine-tasting in
Dry Creek Valley or Russian River Valley ( Click here ) . Bicycling on winding West Dry
Creek Rd is brilliant, as is paddling the Russian River, which runs through town. Rent
bikes from Spoke Folk Cyclery .

The two huge interconnected pools at Francis Ford Coppola Winery are a glam way to
spend a hot day with kids. To ensure admission, reserve in advance a cabine ($135), which
includes chairs for four and wine-tasting passes; day passes include only towel and lawn
seating, not chairs, and on summer weekends sell out immediately - arrive before
10:45am. Excellent onsite restaurant and poolside cafe - the wine's pretty good, too.
