On Location: Film & TV
Imagine living in a world without Orson Welles whispering 'Rosebud,' Judy
Garland clicking her sparkly red heels three times or the Terminator threaten-
ing 'I'll be back.' California is where all of these iconic film images hatched.
Shakespeare claimed 'all the world's a stage,' but in California, it's actually
more of a filming location set. With over 40 TV shows and scores of movies
shot here annually, every palm-lined boulevard or beach seems to come with
its own IMDB.com resume.
